You decide to check the bottom door that bears an active symbol. As you near it, you hear a light scuffling noise on the other side. The tracker tests the doorknob and you ready your rifle. The door is unlocked. The tracker opens the door and you step into the room.

The sniper and tracker see your startled expression and turn around. The tracker stiffens when she sees the sword.
“Nobody move,” the sniper says.
Site 27 Part 4 has come to a close. I didn’t intend to feature this portion of the story, but when I sat down to write, it just came out. I decided in the end that it would be a nice change of pace and give everyone an idea of where the severed foot may have come from. So that’s, uh, good. Right? The story will be wrapping up in the next couple of weeks so this Friday should give you a clearer idea of what’s happened in Site 27…
